Here is a sampling of some of the many wedding and shower favors and I have made for clients. Hopefully they will trigger some inspiration and ideas for you!

These cute bath salts were for a baby shower, and the mom-to-be did not know the baby's gender. The favors turned out great and everyone loved them! The jars are just regular spice jars, filled with a mix of scented bath crystals of rock salt, epsom salt and baking soda.
This little kraft-colored paper bag, found at Michael's crafts, makes a great DIY favor because you can add a ton of different embellishments that make it perfect for your wedding. This one was filled with Jordan almonds and these turned out very cute!!
Some people want to put soaps and lotion in the restroom at their reception site, and a bottle of scented lotion that is labeled with the bride and groom's names, a welcome message or something similar is a really nice touch for guests that stop in to use the restroom.
These cute pink favors were easy to do, with little ceramic trays that were purchased at a local Japanese store for 98 cents each. The trays are really for sushi, but they were perfect for heart-shaped soap wedding favors! Find cute little trays at your local dollar store, and tie soaps, cookies or candies on with color-coordinated ribbon. Finish the favor with a personalized tag or label.
The happy couple wanted their photo to be on their wedding favors, and this is a simple kraft paper mache box that came from Michael's. It was spray-painted silver first. Then, the couple's picture was glued on, and little sticks were added as "natural" frame to fit with this outdoorsy couple's wedding theme.
Have you ever wondered how to package truffles for wedding favors without hiding them in a box? This is a solution that can showcase each gorgeous truffle while allowing you to integrate the colors of your wedding theme into the favor at the same time.
Here is another example, with a dark chocolate truffle that was dusted with pink shimmer powder, placed in a pink candy cup and finished with a pink flower pot and ivory ribbon. Adorable!!
I started my wedding favors business as an off-shoot of my soap company, so many of the wedding favors I made included soap or other bath products in one way or another. This favor was easy and inexpensive for the bride, and was also cute and useful for the recipient. It consists of a cube of fragrant soap, wrapped in translucent paper, with a personalized label and sheer, wide organza ribbon.
This is another example of the fragrant soap cubes, wrapped in paper with a personalized label and tied with raffia. Soap makes a great wedding favor because it is something people can use, rather than something that just takes up space in a drawer.
This was a favor basket for a bridesmaid gift, and it had a collection of mini soaps inside. You could put a variety of things in these cute baskets - they came from Michael's crafts. A little white and gold paint, wide wired ribbon and a dried orange slice made these baskets gorgeous!
This is a larger basket, that was a "Thank you" gift for a few special people that helped out a lot for one couple's wedding. The basket contained a bunch of yummy bath items, and was simply a spray-painted basket from Michael's. Make a label with your home laser printer and some adhesive-backed paper, tie on sheer white organza ribbon and a few sprigs of lavender and you have a beautiful, unique gift basket.
This cute little grass basket was for a beach-themed wedding. Any bar of soap can be heated in the oven on a low temperature to soften, and then you can press a seashell, lavender buds, a shiny bead or other interesting object into the soap bar. The grass basket was a custom-made version that was ordered from Coe & Dru (see the resources tab) and was very inexpensive. Because you cannot find these little grass baskets anywhere (without a special order), this made for a really great, unique wedding favor!
